A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, in the humble town of Edina, MN, a  maiden was born.

Meanwhile, in the relatively-far-away kingdom of Burnsville, a charming young prince awaited.

As the young maiden grew, she spent her days riding her noble steed,

singing with the songbirds,

and dreaming of the day she would marry her handsome prince.

Meanwhile, the valiant prince embarked upon his long and perilous quest to find his one true love.

He fought great battles,

defeated deadly dragons,

and though other, villainous young maidens stepped into his path,

nothing could stop him from his brave quest to find his one true love.

The years went by, and both the maiden and the prince grew in stature,

and both the maiden and the prince survived the long, dark valley of awkwardness.

Still, the prince never gave up on his quest. He fought more great battles,

and even boarded HIS noble steed to travel through the land of the long-haired.

Finally, the day came when the prince found the maiden

(clearly, the maiden was still in the Valley of Awkwardness at this point),

and on June 25, 2005,  the maiden and the prince were united in marriage.

It wasn’t long before the happy couple added to their brood, as they soon had a handsome young prince of their own.

And henceforth it was decreed that the 25th day of June would be a day of much rejoicing in the castle of Wallace .

The eldest prince, meanwhile, came into the kitchen and wondered why the princess was spending the evening of their anniversary blogging.

And they lived happily ever after.

The End
